White or grey golf impact screen material
Both are 500gsm and 4mm thick, with the same construction. They differ in how the surface handles projected light.
White premium
The standard. The brightest image and the highest contrast in a properly darkened room. This is what most venues run.
Grey
Reflects less of the room back at you. In a bay with windows or ambient light you cannot fully block, blacks stay darker and the image keeps its depth.
The job
What an impact screen has to do
Take a full-speed driver strike a few metres from the face, absorb it, and drop the ball at the base of the screen. The 4mm thickness is what keeps bounce-back low enough to stand at a normal hitting position.
Hold a sharp projected picture. A tight, smooth surface shows the image rather than the weave, and the material sits flat under tension so lines stay straight across the full width.
Do both of those on the ten thousandth shot as well as the first. Ours is tested to 200,000 golf shots, which is how a commercial bay gets through a year.

Start with the light in your bay
White is the starting point for a room you can darken. If light from windows or other bays reaches the screen, consider grey. Your projector and room lighting both affect the result, so the free white material sample lets you check the surface with your own setup before ordering. Grey samples are not currently available.
